Do-it-yourself makeup cleanser.

I have been on the hunt for a good makeup cleanser for a long time. I am not a big fan of cleansing wipes. I only use them when I am too tired (lazy) to do the cleansing routine. Also, I don’t like using wipes to remove eye make up - the rubbing bit isn’t exactly eyelash friendly!

I came across this tutorial on youtube. It’s by oxfordjasmine.

It’s such a simple concoction. I mix half a bottle of Johnson’s baby oil (I use the Aloe Vera one) to half a bottle of Boots Skin Tonic i.e. Rose water and Glycerine. And that’s it. Your cleanser is ready for use.

MUFE in Mumbai

Make Up Forever in Mumbai. I have been dying to get my hands on the HD Foundation. I've heard so much about it and definitely know that loads have tried and generally loved it. Might have to stop by the next time I am in B-town. Although, I wouldn't pay anymore than 2,200 Rs. In the US, it costs $40. It costs around £28-£30 in select makeup stores in London, so anymore than than would be extortion.

Must have makeup tool... psst it costs £3.50!

Let's put it this way. If I were stranded in the middle of nowhere and if there was just one makeup brush I could have on me, it would be this brush.

I use my ELF Studio Powder Brush for applying my Bare Minerals foundation, I use it to apply MAC Mineralised Skinfinish Natural powder, I use it to apply my MAC Select Sheer setting powder, I use it to apply my NARS Sheer Glow foundation... there is nothing that this brush can't do when it comes to makeup application!

It's so so soft, it's the perfect size, it looks gorgeous, it applies powder and liquid foundation like magic, I cannot begin to tell you how beautifully it blends, and it only costs £3.50. Yes, really.

ELF (eyes lips face) has a US and Europe website and when I last checked it had a website for India, although unfortunately, they don't stock much of the studio line :'( which is such a shame... but I reckon they should be getting the line in a few months time and when they do, I say buy it! For £3.50 you can't go wrong.
